KEEPING A SPACE FOR DANCE
Located in historic Westbeth at 55 Bethune Street, the Nancy Meehan Dance Studio is committed to providing high-quality rehearsal space for the New York City dance community at affordable rates. The Company's goal is to continue nurturing the creative community of dance-makers and dancers that, since 1970 have made this studio their home.
DESCRIPTION
The studio overlooks the Hudson River and has windows on three sides. The dimensions are 33 x 25 x 16 with no pillars.There is a sprung wooden floor, mirrors, speakers, a lobby/entrance space, and one restroom/dressing room.
GENERAL POLICIES
Studio Hours:
Due to COVID-19, studio hours are limited.
Studio Rental Rate:
Due to COVID-19, the number of people in the studio will be limited.
6 people or less: $15/hour
7-12 people: $20/hour

STUDIO USAGE
Our sprung maple floors are delicate. Please leave your shoes in the stairwell outside of the studio and please use no tape or sharp objects that might mar the floor.
Food & beverages are to be consumed outside of the studio.
Broken mirrors are bad luck! Please do not touch or lean on the studio mirrors.

Reservations can be made by emailing: studiorental@nancymeehan.org.
Emails will be responded to within 24 hours on weekdays only between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or full payment will be due.
